Board of Directors

The Genesee Free-Net is a director-based non-profit organization. The 15-member board of directors meets monthly. The current meeting schedule can be consulted for specific meeting dates, times, and locations. The minutes from each meeting are archived and can be viewed here.

Many of the directors also lead committees of volunteers who are carrying out more of the organization's work.  For more information about the current board members, see the GFN Board Members page.

The Genesee Free-Net is incorporated as a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation and has received federal tax exempt status. A 15- member Board of Directors that is racially and economically diverse oversees the organization and is responsible for policy and strategic planning. The men and women on the board represent many areas of the community, including:
