Kay SchwartzI earned my Master of Information and Library Studies degree in 1998, after having been a CPA for almost 20 years. As a CPA with Dupuis & Ryden, I assisted the Genesee Free-Net in obtaining its tax exempt status, so I worked with Mike Mosher and Dave Cheslow during the startup. They got me interested in the Internet before it was even fashionable, and now my job reflects that interest. Since June 1998, I've been the Cybrarian at the Flint Public Library. I manage a 17-seat Internet Training Lab, planning and teaching public classes. I also manage the library's web site, http://www.flint.lib.mi.us/ . I work with computers as a "user," not an "under the hood" person, and sit the fence between Mac and PC, because I use both! I've been married to Mark since 1971 and we have two teenagers at home plus an older daughter who is finished with college and gainfully employed (yay!). We've lived in Flushing for 20 years.
