Statement of Interests:

My current Interests are varied and include dealing with computing issues, information management (Nursing Informatics) and information use and analysis for professionals in the Health Care Field.

My areas of expertise are based on my employment history and other interests acquired throughout many years of work. They include Nursing Administration, and Nursing in general, computer usage and project management in clinical settings. I also have some knowledge in the use of computers to control and sense physical devices as in home automation applications.

What I would contribute to the Board:

As a Charter Member, I feel that I can add my expertise in the above areas as well as represent those users who are retired and use the Genesee Freenet access to the internet and World Wide Web.

As a life long resident of Genesee County, I feel that I have knowledge of the needs and challenges we in this area have faced in the past and some that we will be facing in the near and distant future. The Genesee Freenet provides access to information for the general public to obtain and use and hopefully develop new commercial interests and knowledge to provide greater employment possibilities for citizens of the Genesee-Lapeer-Shiawasee Region.
