Move to Bristolwood.
Chair Dennis Cavanaugh distributed keys to Bristolwood Community of Christ Church to Larry, Janet and Solomon. Chris Hall will be given a key later. Denny will seek insurance bids from three (3) insurance agencies: Sovis, Brown & Brown and Piper McCredie. The estimate from Sovis is expected to be around $40 per month.
The expected cost for telephone and DSL for the relocated office is around $70 per month. Denny will have AT&T install telephone lines and DSL at the church and begin moving the packed banker boxes to Bristolwood on Monday (4/27/09). No more office furniture will be purchased at this time. Larry and Denny will sign the rental agreement for the office space at Bristolwood Community of Christ Church.
Move to SectorLink.
Scott Gifford and Chad Cramer will decide when to execute the servers move to SectorLink. The RADIUS application needs to be upgraded to the new version. Chad believes it will be a simple upgrade. Scott and Chad are still working on getting power usage down to 6U. System Administration will issue a system wide notice before the servers are moved to SectorLink. The move is expected to be done in two steps. Denny called Scott during the meeting. The Board approved Scott to act as agent for GFN and execute the contract with SectorLink.
System Report.
Modem access for GFN is being restructured. Ten (10) dial in lines will be moved to Internet123 with fee of $15 per modem per month. Telephone numbers in use at TelNet Worldwide will be accessed over twenty-three lines (one PRI) with TelNet Worldwide managed modems.
The Untangle server has had a couple of problems leading to system shutdowns. System Administration believes the Untangle server problems have been resolved. The box borrowed from Richard Crang to house the Untangle server will be purchased from him.
