Call to order at 5:15pm. Chair Dennis Cavanaugh presiding.

Status of Migration of Servers.
Chad Cramer and Scott Gifford are proceeding with reorganizing server applications and removing expired Organization Accounts and other obsolete entries. Chad and Scott need to coordinate their schedules to get the work completed. The work may take another month or two depending on when they can arrange to work on the servers together. A problem needing to be resolved is the handling of hosted Web sites domains.

Statue of Office Location Choices.
The rental fee at Resource Genesee appears to be about $100 a month. Permission to use space in the Red Cross building is being obtained from the Red Cross.

GFN would need to install DSL and voice telephone connections at Community of Christ Church. A vote of the congregation is needed to permit GFN to use church space. Monthly rental fee is not firm and contribution from GFN would be needed to defray utility costs. GFN may need to work with the church on other ventures. Board member Nicolette Hodge is looking toward synergy among GFN, Baker College Students and a Church Kids Computer Program.

Status with SectorLink.
GFN currently needs 10U power for its servers. Sectorlink has offered 6U power for $240 a month. After Chad and Scott finish reshuffling server applications GFN will be ready to relocate the servers. Then OTC would be given 30 day notice of GFN intent to move. Server work may take another month or two. Start with 10U power at SectorLink then switch to 6U power.

Office Report.
GFN office will need furniture at its new location. Office documents older then 7 years need to be shredded.

Larry Porn presented an advertising offer from Biz Star. GFN ads could appear on 20 big screens in malls and other high pedestrian traffic areas in Genesee County for $895 to $900 a year. Larry asked Board members to take a look at a screen near JC Penny in Genesee Vally Mall.

Consultant Reimbursement for February.
System Administration consultant Kenny Thomas worked about 14.5 hours on GFN servers in February and was paid $435.

Matters Arising.
In response to a question about the Untangle Quarantine filter Scott Gifford said that filtered Spam logged on the server is automatically deleted after being held for 13 days.
