The Genesee Free-Net is compatible with the Trumpet Winsock package. To use it, set up the configuration (Setup, under the File menu) with the following values:

IP Address 0.0.0.0
Netmask 255.255.0.0
Name Server 205.145.139.41
Domain Name gfn.org
Internal PPP (selected)
Slip (your modem com port)
Baud Rate (your setting)
Hardware Handshaking (selected)
Online Status Detection (None)
