Installing Dial Up Networking for Windows 95
1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Double click on Network icon.
3. Check to see if the following network components are installed :
- a) Dial-up Adapter
- b) TCP/IP
If both of the above are installed you are ready to setup a dialer
connection. Follow the instructions in
Setting Up Win95 for the Internet.
Otherwise continue with A) below to install Dialup
Networking
A) Adding Dial-up Adapter and TCP/IP
- 1) Go to Control Panel.
- 2) Double click on Network.
- 3) Click on ADD.
- 4) Click on Adapter.
- 5) Click on ADD
- 6) Click on Microsoft.
- 7) Click on Dial-up Adapter.
- 8) Click on OK.
- 9) From Network, click on ADD as in step 3).
- 10) Click on Protocol.
- 11) Click on ADD.
- 12) Click on Microsoft.
- 13) Click on TCP/IP.
- 14) Click OK until you are back to the Control
Panel.
Now go to
Setting Up Win95 for the Internet.
