Sweepstakes and Lotteries

· DON’T RESPOND!! If you receive a "Cashiers" or "Certified Check" DON’T RESPOND!! 

· If they ask for money or a credit card, DON’T RESPOND!!

· If you’re told to act immediately.  DON’T RESPOND!!

· If they make reference to organizations or companies that sound familiar. DON'T RESPOND!!

· DON’T RESPOND!! If they request anything DON’T RESPOND!! DON’T RESPOND!! DON’T RESPOND!!

Internet and Internet Auctions

· Look at Seller's Feedback 50 plus feedbacks as Seller with a minimum 100% Positive with fewer than 100 feedbacks.

· Uses safe  method of payment. PayPal or Credit Cards.

· Seller is in United States.

· Never launder money for a Buyer or Seller.

· Beware of transactions using Western Union for payment.

· Never supply financial and/or personal information in response to an Email.

Travel:

• Leave your home with safety in mind.
• Stop the newspaper and your mail. 
• Advise your law enforcement agency of your leaving and ask for a vacation check. 
• Use light timers.
• Place an identification tag on your LOCKED luggage. 
• Carry little cash, use travelers checks. Carry two or fewer credit cards.
• Give your car a check-up before you go.
• Know your route and alternate routes.  Be prepared for weather emergencies. 
• Tell a trusted family member of your travel plans and how to contact you there.

· Never pick up hitch hikers ! 

· Store luggage in the trunk. 

· Park in well lit areas only. 

· Check your floors and backseat before you get in your vehicle.
