PROCEDURE FOR DEPOSITING FUNDS INTO AN INMATE ACCOUNT

1.         Funds may be deposited into an inmate’s account at the Genesee County Jail via

Visitor Screening, cash, (correct amount, no coins), money order, or cashier’s check.

2.         Funds can be sent through the mail, money order or cashier’s check only.

            Please make sure the money order or cashier’s check is made out to the inmate,

            along with the inmate’s booking number.

DAYS AND TIME MONEY IS ACCEPTED:

            Monday – Thursday                          7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

            Friday                                                 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

            NO WEEKENDS.
