Text Box: FABULOUS DINNER AUCTION NEWS!!

     

 

You are going to be SO EXCITED about the latest donation we have for the Vianney Nights Dinner Auction!  We have secured the use of a condo in Keystone, Colorado, for a week!!  Two bedrooms, pool, hot tub, sauna, sleeps six – within walking distance of the ski lift.  Fishing and golfing also available.  What a great opportunity!  Take the kids, or pool your resources with other friends and take a fab vacation! 

Some other exciting items:

©      “Chef” Father Tom is going to prepare dinner for four!  The company will be great, and you can check out his culinary talents.

©      Thrill your student (and his/her homeroom) by purchasing an extra casual day from Mrs. Slattery.  She will ‘sell’ as many as you would like to buy for $25 each!

©      Two season passes to Powers Catholic’s home fall and winter sporting events.  The fall passes include preferred parking for the football games.

©      Two sets of two tickets with parking to see the Deee-troit Pistons.

©      Spa and salon treatments, golf getaways

©      Front pews for the Spring Concert, Primary and Middle School Christmas Programs, and the Children’s Christmas Eve Mass.

©      Dinner for six prepared by Chef Marge Murphy.  Includes Italian lessons!

©      A diamond ring valued at $1,600, a diamond and ruby ring valued at $900, and a diamond and sapphire ring valued at $900!

We have some fun raffles planned:

All of you parents and grandparents will LOVE the classroom projects created by your children’s loving hands:

©      Pre-K – a picture created with the finger prints of the Pre-K students, and a class composite photograph framed

©      Kindergarten – a book shelf decorated with the handprints of the KinderKids, and a framed class photograph

©      Grade 1 – a custom created sleeping bag with artwork by the students

©      Grade 2 – quilts with individual squares designed and cut by the children

©      Grade 3 – an erase board framed with student-created tiles

©      Grade 4 – a Very Special Arts collaborative project

©      Grade 5 – tiled and jeweled bird baths

©      Grade 6 – lamp made with Michigan rocks, featuring a Petoskey Stone

©      Grade 7 – a photograph of the students, each wearing one of Mr. Simms hockey jerseys!  A great keepsake!

©      Grades 7 and 8 – double sets of SJV lockers, reconditioned, on wheels, featuring magnets designed by the students

MORE GREAT NEWS!! To date, we have received $300 in cash donations to the Dinner Auction.  Matched by our Anonymous Parent Donor, that amount DOUBLES to $600 for the students at St. John Vianney!  The $3000 the parents pledged to match can be doubled to $6000 if we all contribute a little – can you help?

And now, with the auction only a few days away, it is time to CONTACT MRS. MARTIN IN THE SCHOOL OFFICE (235-5687) TO RESERVE YOUR TICKETS! 

If you are unable to attend the event but want to bid on items, please fill out the absentee bidder sheet below and take it to the school or church office.  We will call you to confirm if yours is the winning bid!
