2008/2009 School Supply List

All students need a bookbag.     ALL textbooks need to be covered.

Pre-K:  One pocket folder with pockets along the bottom, one bookbag or backpack that will hold the folder, 2 boxes 24-count crayons, 6 glue sticks, one empty frosting container for crayons. Please choose 3 of the following: one bag of dry beans, one package of LARGE zip-lock bags, one package of small paper plates, one large package of napkins, 1 family-sized box of kleenex,  roll of paper towels.

Kindergarten:  Folder (with horizontal pockets), bookbag (large enough for folder to fit),  package of Zip-loc bags, 5 glue sticks, 1 box (24) Crayola crayons,  plastic frosting container (for crayons),  1 box family-size Kleenex, roll of paper towels, package of napkins.  Full day students will need small blanket, travel pillow, and a sturdy bag in which to hang these items.

Grade 1:  Small school box to hold crayons and pencils,  2 boxes family-size kleenex,  1 box 8 ct. crayons, 1 box 24-ct. crayons,  2 glue sticks,  package of #2 pencils (12 ct. – not plastic-coated), 1 spiral notebook (wide-ruled, 70 ct.), one highlighter (any color), eraser (such as Magic Rub or Pink Pearl - not pencil caps),  three 2- pocket folders with horizontal pockets (to be kept in school),  red pen (not gel pen),  low-odor black dry erase marker (Expo 2) -  No other markers or colored pencils.  No liquid glue. Art: 1 box colored pencils.

Grade 2:   2 single-subject wide-ruled spiral notebooks (70 ct. – not perforated),  2 Pink Pearl or Magic Rub erasers,  1 enclosed pencil sharpener,  24 ct. crayons,  pack of markers,  pencil box (large enough for all supplies, small enough to fit into desk), 4 large glue sticks,  2 boxes family-size Puffs,  8 red ink pens,  1 plain red pocket folder,  1 plain yellow pocket folder, 1 plain any color pocket folder (Only horizontal pockets in all folders),  1 Expo blue or black dry erase marker (NOT Boone brand),  2 packages of 24 pencils (not mechanical),  1 pkg. of pencil top erasers, roll of paper towels. No trappers, binders, mechanical pencils!  Art: 1 box markers.

Grade 3:   4 wide-ruled 70 pg. spiral notebooks, not perforated,  3 front pocket folders (no side pockets), 1 package red pens, 2 packages of wide-ruled loose leaf notebook paper,  2 packages of #2 pencils (no decorative or mechanical pencils)pencil cap erasers, 2 yellow highlighters, 24 count crayons,  6 glue sticks,  roll of paper towels, 2 boxes family-size kleenex, 2 thin black dry erase markers, 1 nylon zipper pencil case (no boxes) *the plastic type doesn’t hold up as well,  1 box 12 ct. colored pencils,  8 ct. regular washable markers, 1 enclosed pencil sharpener.  No trappers.  Art: 1 box thin Crayola markers.

Grade 4:  3 single (70 pg. wide-ruled) spirals,  6 pocket folders (any kind),  #2 lead pencils, hand held pencil sharpener,  red and basic blue ink pens,  24 ct. Crayola crayons,  12 pack colored pencils,  2 highlighters – any color,  3 packs of 200 ct. wide-ruled loose-leaf paper,  soft zipper pencil case (no pencil boxes), 1 large gum or hard brown eraser, 6 large glue sticks, 10 count markers, 2 boxes of family-size Kleenex, 6 LARGE book covers, 2 rolls of paper towels.  Art:  2 large glue sticks.

Grade 5:  4 single (70 pg. wide-ruled) spirals,  6 pocket folders (any kind),  #2 lead pencils, hand held pencil sharpener,  red and basic blue ink pens,  24 ct. Crayola crayons,  12 pack colored pencils,  2 highlighters – any color,  2 packs of 200 ct. wide-ruled loose-leaf paper,  soft zipper pencil case (no pencil boxes), 1 large gum or hard brown eraser, 2 large glue sticks, 2 boxes of family-size Kleenex, 1 roll of paper towels, 5 Jumbo book covers.   Art: 2 large glue sticks.   Band: 2 pencils, a 2-pocket folder, 1 spiral notebook.

Grades 6 – 8:  pencils, blue or black pens, red pens or pencils, nine single spiral notebooks, combination lock, pencil/pen case (zipper), 2 family-size Kleenex, 1 container of disinfectant wipes.  Spirals, folders, paper, pencils needed throughout the year. All paper and notebooks need to be wide-ruled. 8th grade English: 1” binder and dividers.   Band: 2 pencils, a 2-pocket folder.
