The Tall Pine Council - Boy Scouts of America was organized in 1917 and serves the three Mid-Michigan counties of Genesee, Lapeer and Shiawassee. Over 18,000 youth each year experience the Scouting aims of character development, citizenship, training and personal fitness in Tall Pine Council activities.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Cub Scout Roundtable Training

Date: January 12, 2008
Location: Tall Pine Council Scout Service Center

  • 8 am to Noon - Cub Scout Roundtable Basic Training

  • Noon to 2 pm - Advanced Cub Scout Roundtable Training - All current Cub Scout Roundtable staff should attend. We will talk about how we can increase our attendance and staff at the Cub Scout Roundtables. This is a 2 hour session. We will take time to have an open discussion to share ideas that work for each district to help others. We will also talk about a way to share information electronically between the Roundtable Staffs. This is your chance to give feedback on your program. This training is open to Roundtable Commissioners, Roundtable Staff, District Commissioners, Unit Commissioners and Council Staff.

Cub Scout Leader Training

Date: January 26th, 2008

Time: 8:30 am - 10:00 pm

New Leader Specfics
Time: 11:00 am - 3:30 pm

Your "Subscription" To Camp

Join our Spring Program to help your Scouts earn their way to camp with no expense to your Unit or Scout!

What is the “Subscription” To Camp Program?: “Subscription” to Camp is a new Spring program that allows every Scout the opportunity to earn his way to camp. Every unit who participates will also have the opportunity to raise additional funds for the unit and organize the ultimate camping experience for their Scouts with no expense to the unit or the Scout.

Tall Pine Council Recognition and Awards Banquet

SAVE THIS DATE, Saturday, February 2, 2008. This year's banquet will be held at the Genesys Conference and Banquet Center. Doors will be open at 5:30 pm and dinner at 6:00 pm. Reservations may be made at the Scout Service Center or by mail.
