Exploring

Exploring is a Learning for Life program for young men and women ages 14 (and having graduated the eighth grade) through 20. It is a worksite-based program that gives youth opportunities to visit community organizations and various business to explore the dynamics of a variety of careers. Exploring is a contemporary program that helps young adults make educated decisions about their future by providing them in-depth exposure to careers, while helping them participate in exciting, adult-style social, outdoor and leadership activities.

Exploring encompasses five areas of emphasis including Career Opportunities, Leadership Experience, Character Education, Life Skills, and Service Learning. The different career groups in Exploring are referred to as Posts.
